1,1â²-Diamino-5,5â²-azotetrazole, which was obtained from the reaction of 1,5-diaminotetrazole with acetone, sodium dichloroisocyanurate and acetic acid respectively, was well characterized. Its structure was confirmed by X-ray crystallography and the thermal stability and explosive performance were also investigated.
