  Die Erfindung betrifft einen Aerosolbehälter für pharmazeutisch wirksame in vorgegebenen Mengen zu verabreichende Aerosole, die in Form einer Suspension in dem Behälter bereitgestellt werden, wobei die Suspension ausser einer pharmazeutisch wirksamen Substanz zumindest noch ein Treibgas umfasst. Der Aerosolbehälter (1) umfasst ein Dosierventil (2), welches eine Dosierkammer (20) und ein Ventilröhrchen (21) aufweist. In einer ersten Stellung des Ventilröhrchens steht die Dosierkammer mit dem Innenraum des Behälters in Verbindung und ist mit einer vorgegebenen Menge des Aerosols befüllt. In einer zweiten Stellung des Ventilröhrchens gibt sie die in der Dosierkammer befindliche Menge des Aerosols frei. Das Treibgas ist ein alternatives Treibgas frei von Fluor-Chlor-Kohlenwasserstoffen, vorzugsweise ein nur Fluor- Kohlenwasserstoffe umfassendes Treibgas, und die Innenwand des Behälters ist mit einem Kunststoffbelag beschichtet.
