  Compositions of compounds having vinyl groups activated by electronically adjacent ether oxygen atoms, thioether sulfur atoms or tertiary amino atoms α- or β-sulfonyloxyacetophenone compounds which photodegrade to form sulfonic acids are photocurable by a cationic mechanism.
