Abstract The complexes studied are rather unstable; their magneticproperties are in agreement with this, the paramagnetic susceptibility following the Curie-Weiss law in the temperature range 90–300 K. However, the IR spectra show M-N bands and are influenced by Hydrogen bond formation. The reflectance spectra show at least one weak band at about 23500–24200 cm−1 assigned to the 6A1g→4A1g, 4Eg(4G)
