  A wide range of N,O-bis-acylated hydroxylamine derivatives with chloro or arenesulfonyl leaving groups, and a related set of N-hydroxy-N-acylsulfonamides, have been synthesized and evaluated for nitroxyl (HNO) production. Mechanistic studies have revealed that the observed aqueous chemistry is more complicated than originally anticipated, and have been used to develop a new series of efficient HNO precursors (4u-4x, 7c-7d) with tunable half-lives.

  [EN] The invention relates to a combined preparation which, as an active ingredient, contains at least one anti-infectiously active compound that inhibits the 2-C-methylerythrose-4 metabolic pathway, and which contains at least one lipid metabolism inhibitor. The combined preparation is used in infectious processes, especially in infections in humans and animals and as a herbicide in plants. It is shown that the build-up of resistance against the inventive combined preparation is largely reduced compared to the build-up of resistance against the individual components.
  [FR] L'invention concerne une préparation combinée contenant comme principes actifs au moins un composé à action anti-infectieuse, qui inhibe la voie métabolique de la 2-C-méthylérythrose-4, et au moins un inhibiteur du métabolisme lipidique. La préparation combinée s'utilise dans des processus infectieux, notamment dans des infections chez l'homme et l'animal et comme herbicide chez les végétaux. Il s'avère que la résistance induite dans cette préparation combinée est notablement réduite par rapport aux préparations simples.
