Three sequential dearomatization-rearomatization reactions of benzoxazinones with aza-sulfur ylides were developed under transition metal catalysis. Pharmaceutically significant bis-nitrogen heterocycles, benzimidazolines and dibenzodiazepines, were produced with high efficiency and selectivity.
