The present invention has its object to provide a curable composition which comprises a reactive silyl group-containing organic polymer, does not contain, as a silanol condensation catalyst, any organotin type curing catalyst currently of concern because of the toxic feature thereof, is excellent in surface curability and depth curability and, further, can provide cured products excellent in adhesiveness; the above obj ect can be achieved by a curable composition which comprises: an organic polymer (A) containing a silicon-containing group capable of crosslinking under siloxane bond formation; and a guanidine compound (B-1), as a silanol condensation catalyst (B), represented by the general formula (1):

(wherein one of the five R1s is an aryl group and the other four R1s each independently is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group in which the carbon atom at position 1 is saturated).
An object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition which is excellent in curability and storage stability without an organotin curing catalyst which is known to be toxic. In order to achieve this object, the present inventors have studied to find that a curable composition comprising: (A) an organic polymer having a silicon-containing group cross-linkable by siloxane bond formation (reactive silyl group); (B) a guanidine compound; and (C) a methyl ester group-containing compound is effective. In addition, the present inventors have found that a cured product of this curable composition has good physical properties. Thereby, the present inventors have completed the present invention.
The present invention aims to provide a curable composition without adverse effects on the environment, which exhibits excellent curability without containing a toxic organotin curing catalyst, and gives a cured product that does not have discoloration and cracks on the surface thereof even after being exposed to the atmosphere and ultraviolet light for a long time. The present invention also aims to provide the cured product. The curable composition comprises: (A) an organic polymer having a reactive silyl group; (B) a guanidine compound having a specific structure; and (C) a phosphorus compound that has an aryl group, has a phosphorus atom with an oxi.dation number of +5, and has a melting point of 23°C or higher.

[Problem] To provide a curable composition having high stability and excellent curing properties.
[Solution] The present invention relates to a curable composition, and a cured synthetic resin using same, that functions as a curing catalyst for a synthetic resin. The curable composition contains (A) a titanium alkoxide, (B) a bidentate organic chelating agent that stabilizes the titanium alkoxide and (C) a guanidine compound. The molar ratio of the titanium alkoxide (A), the bidentate organic chelating agent (B), and the guanidine compound (C) is 1:0.5-3:0.5-2.
