    The specification describes various polymers having monomer of formula (I): 1 In formula (I), R1 and R2 are, independently, hydrogen, a C 1 -C 24 alkyl group, an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkyl or C 2 -C 7 heterocycloalkyl group, or a —C(O)R3 group in which R3 is a C 1 -C 24 alkyl group, an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkyl or C 2 -C 7 heterocyclic group; or a —CH 2 —C(O)—R4 group in which R4 is a C 1 -C 6 alkyl group. The polymer may be used in a variety of coating compositions such as inks, adhesives, paints and films.     The present application relates to a new silane-based compound, a photosensitive resin composition including the same, and a photosensitive material including the same. The photosensitive resin composition including the silane-based compound according to the exemplary embodiment of the present application increases adhesion strength to a substrate, such that a developing property is excellent and there are no surface stains or defects during a subsequent process. Accordingly, a photosensitive material, a color filter and the like having excellent quality may be manufactured by using the photosensitive resin composition according to the exemplary embodiment of the present application.

    An oil-in-water emulsion comprises an emulsifier which is a non-gelled branched polymer (e.g. a branched vinyl polymer), wherein the ends of at least some of the chains of said polymer terminate in an alkyl chain of 5 carbon atoms or more, and wherein the oil-in-water emulsion takes the form of particles having a z-average diameter of no greater than about 1000 nm. This is useful in, for example, facilitating the carrying of hydrophobic materials within aqueous systems, to enhance oral drug delivery. The oil-in-water emulsion may be prepared by mixing an oil phase with an aqueous phase in the presence of an emulsifier, wherein said emulsifier is a non-gelled branched polymer, wherein the ends of at least some of the chains of said polymer terminate in an alkyl chain of 5 carbon atoms or more, and wherein the oil-in-water emulsion takes the form of particles having a z-average diameter of no greater than about 1000 nm. The oil phase may comprise a further solvent which is miscible with the oil, said solvent being allowed to evaporate to produce the final emulsion.

    Disclosed herein is a colored photosensitive resin composition including a copolymer, an epoxy resin compound or a compound derived therefrom, a polymerizable compound, a photoinitiator, and a colorant, wherein the photoinitiator includes an oxime compound and a triazine compound. The composition, when formed into a cured film, may facilitate the fabrication of necessary height difference and satisfy the requirements of sensitivity and an exposure margin for light shielding spacers, and, thus, is useful as a material for manufacturing a light shielding spacer such as a black column spacer used in various electronic parts including the panels of an LCD and an OLED display.
