sulfonylation of indolizines are developed thanks to an electrondonor–acceptor complex approach. The formation of two new C−S bonds, without further pre-functionnalization, in metal-free and mild conditions renders this three-component approach sustainable and green. The newly 3-sulfonylated indolizines show promising photophysicalproperties with high fluorescence and large Stokes shifts.
