and [Ac-Tyr1, D-Ala2, Leu5-OMe]Enkephalin were successfully synthesized by the coupling of dipeptide units and tripeptide units which were readily obtained by the asymmetric hydrogenation of the corresponding dehydropeptide building blocks.
