The convenient method for the synthesis of α-([sydnon- and sydnone imin]-4-yl-thio)acetylferrocenes was elaborated. A growth-regulating activity of these ferrocene derivatives as well as their antidote activity against Metsulfuron-Methyl (Zinger WP) herbicide was investigated in vegetation experiments on corn seedlings. The high dose-dependent growth regulating activity of a number of the ferrocenes
