The N-tetrachlorophthaloyl-(TCP-)amino protecting group has been evaluated for use in solid-phasepeptidesynthesis. The TCP group was unaffected by exposure to either piperidine or N,N-diisopropylethylamine (DIEA), which suggests compatibility with both Fmoc and Boc solid-phasesynthesis protocols.
