were reductively ring-opened with LiAlH4 to give 2-(3-substituted-1-amino-3,5-dihydroxypentyl)-pyridines, which were subjected to Dess-Martin oxidation with concomitant dehydration to give 4-substituted 2,2′-bipyridines.
生成吡啶-2-腈氧化物原位并用2-取代的反应,但-1-烯-4-醇,得到5-取代的-5-(2-羟基乙基)-3-(吡啶-2-基)-Δ 2 -异恶唑啉。将异恶唑啉用LiAlH 4还原开环,得到2-(3-取代的-1-氨基-3,5-二羟基戊基)-吡啶,将其进行Dess-Martin氧化并伴随脱水,得到4-取代的2, 2'-联吡啶。
