Five new complexes, [(NH3)5Co(dicarboxylate)Co(NH3)5]X4 (dicarboxylate=oxalate, succinate, pimelate, fumarate, and maleate; X=ClO4− or Cl−), were synthesized by the reactions of [Co(hydrogen dicarboxylate)(NH3)5](ClO4)2 with [Co(NH3)5(H2O)](ClO4)3 and characterized by chromatographic behavior and electronic and NMR techniques.
