Catalyticsynthesis of 3,4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones/thiones was efficiently promoted by as little as 2.5 mol% of Brønsted acidicionicliquid [(CH2)3SO3HMIM]HSO4 catalyst loading viarapidheatingways.
