  据报道，有效的Pd催化的多米诺骨牌Mizoroki-Heck反应和末端烯烃与六元环二芳基碘鎓的还原Heck反应可轻松获得各种新型二氢蒽。烯烃的范围是一般性的，导致简洁地生成了30种二氢蒽，而这是常规方法不易获得的。此外，新合成的二氢蒽之一显示出对PANC-1癌细胞极好的抗增殖活性（IC50 = 11.74μM）。
