Purpose
The object of the present invention is to provide novel dendritic molecules which respond immediately by emission of light when stimulated with light or electric energy, and are useful, for example, as switching material of memory.
Constitution
Dendritic molecules characterized by that they have a core, a branch structure composed of Unit 1 represented by the following formula [Formula 49; wherein, ring A stands for a homo or heterocyclic six membered ring], and surface functional groups as essential constituents.
Novel N-hydroxyamide derivatives are disclosed. These N-hydroxyamide derivatives inhibit UPD-3-O—(R-3-hydroxymyristoyl)-N-acetylglucosamine deacetylase, an enzyme present in gram negative bacteria and are therefore useful as antimicrobials and antibiotics. Methods of synthesis and of use of the compounds are also disclosed.
