    Hydrosilylation of Aromatic Azomethines
    摘要:
    The reactions of aromatic azomethines with methyldichlorosilane, phenyldichlorosilane, and dimethylchlorosilane, performed in the presence of Speier's, Wilkinson's, and Karstedt's catalysts and a series of P(II) complexes LL'PtCl2, give hydrosilylation and reduction products whose ratio depends on the catalyst used. The hi-hest yield of hydrosilylation products is attained with Pt(II) complexes as catalysts.

    Interaction of pyridineplatinum(II) complexes with dimethyl sulfoxide and diethyl sulfoxide is studied by NMR spectroscopy. The interaction products are pyridinesulfoxide and bissulfoxide platinum(II) complexes. Cis-trans isomerization of the products is observed along with the substitution reaction and determines the final configuration of the complexes.

    The reactions of the optically active geometric isomers of the platinum(II) complex (-)-[Pt(Me-p-TolSO)(Py)Cl-2] with several nucleophilic reagents (Py, Ph3PS, Ph3P, Ph3As, and Me2SO) were studied by optical rotatory dispersion, IR spectroscopy, and H-1 and P-31 NMR spectroscopy. A mechanism for the reaction is proposed.
