    The present invention provides a diaryl sulfone compound represented by Formula (1): wherein R 1 to R 4 and R 1′ to R 4′ are the same or different, and each represents hydrogen, C 1 - 4 alkyl, or halogen, and R 5 represents C 2-6 alkenyl, C 1-4 alkyl, or aromatic heterocyclic group; a method for producing the diaryl sulfone compound represented by Formula (1) by reacting a 4,4′-dihaloarylsulfone compound with thiol salt compound having an alkylene group; and a method for producing the diaryl sulfone compound represented by Formula (1) by reacting a 4,4′-dihaloarylsulfone compound with a thiol salt compound having a hydroxyl group, and subjecting the resulting compound to reaction with a halogenating agent, followed by a dehydrohalogenation reaction.

    A variety of substituted diarylsulfones could be synthesized by simple arenes and 3CdSO(4)center dot xH(2)O in the presence of P2O5 under high-speed ball milling. It was suggest the aromatic sulfonation was performed by arene and in situ generated H2SO4, following-up by electrophilic substitution with another arene to give diarylsulfone. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.     It is an object of the present invention to provide fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) which has less coloration and higher solubility in comparison with conventional compounds, and a method for producing the same. Further, it is also an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing a fluorinated bis(phthalonitrile) compound, which is an intermediate raw material compound of the method for producing the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride), and a polyamic acid and a polyimide, which are produced from the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride). A fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) of the present invention is the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) represented by the following formula (I 1 ), wherein its specific surface area is 3.0 m 2 /g or larger. It is also characterized in that its molar absorption coefficient is 0.6 L/mol·cm or less at a wavelength of 360 nm.     The invention aims to provide a method by which a solution of polyimide can be easily obtained. Further, the invention aims to provide a fluorinated polyimide solution by which fluorinated polyimide excellent especially as an optical material and an electronic functional material can easily be produced. The production method of the soluble polyimide solution according to invention is characterized by mixing a mixture containing a polyamide acid, a cyclodehydration reagent, and a solvent by a rotation-revolution mixing method. Further, the fluorinated polyimide solution of the invention is a solution of polyimide defined by the following formula (II): wherein, X and Y independently represent divalent organic groups; Z represents chlorine atom, bromine atom, or iodine atom; p represents an integer of 1 to 3; q represents an integer of 0 to 2; and p+q=3.
