Three isomeric pyridine-containing l-glutamic lipids formed organogels in DMSO and self-assembled into different nanostructures of nanofiber, twist and nanotube depending on the substituent position in the pyridine ring.
Metallogels based on the co-assembly of L-glutamic acid lipids with cobalt ions can be used as catalysts for photocatalytic CO2 reduction presenting high efficiency and good product selectivity.
