DIMATE是一种新型不可逆、竞争性和同种型特异性ALDH1抑制剂，对人急性髓系白血病(AML)细胞系具有细胞毒性，IC50值为1-15 μM；在富含淋巴干细胞(LSCs)的白血病群体中具有选择性细胞毒性，而不影响健康造血干细胞；通过促进凋亡醛的积累，在异种移植小鼠模型中诱导细胞凋亡并抑制肿瘤生长。
