Nitration of Aromatic Compounds by Zn(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub> · 2N<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>and Its Charcoal‐Supported System

Abstract Zn(NO3)2 · N2O4 and its charcoal supported system were found to be efficient nitrating agents. Mononitration of aromatic compounds such as benzene, alkyl benzenes, halobenzenes, nitrobenzene, anisol, and the highly selective mono‐, di‐, and trinitration of phenol, and dinitraion of substituted phenols were also performed in the presence of these reagents.
摘要 Zn(NO3)2·N2O4 及其炭载体体系被认为是有效的硝化剂。苯、烷基苯、卤代苯、硝基苯、苯甲醚等芳香族化合物的单硝化,以及苯酚的高选择性单硝化、二硝化和三硝化,以及取代酚的二硝化也在这些试剂的存在下进行。
