A series of O,O-dialkyl 2-oxo-2-(4-(seleomorpholinosulfonyl)phenylamino)ethy lphosphonate were synthesized by reactions of 2-chloro-N-(4-(seleomorpholino sulfonyl)phenyl)acetamide with dialkylphosphite in the presence of sodium hydride. The structure of all new compounds has been confirmed by 1 H NMR, 31 P NMR, IR, Mass spectroscopy and elemental analyses.

A simple and reversible fluorescent probe based on NBD for rapid detection of hypochlorite and its application for bioimaging
A Se-containing heptamethine cyanine dye based fluorescent probe was successfully developed and used for HClO detection with rapid response and high selectivity based on aggregation behavior. The probe could react with HClO with significant change in its fluorescence profile, which makes it practical for detecting HClO in fetal bovine serum and in living mice.
GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Seven novel selenium-containing acenaphtho[1,2-b]pyrrole derivatives were designed and synthesized and their cytotoxic effects were evaluated by the MTT tetrazolium dye assay. Two compounds presented good anticancer activities.
