Abstract Two new methyl indole-3-carboxylate derivatives: methyl 1-(3′-indolylmethane)-indole-3-carboxylate (1), and methyl 1-(1′-benzenosulfonyl-3′-indolylmethane)-indole-3-carboxylate (2) were synthesized.
