    Disclosed is an image recording method employing a photocurable ink containing an oxetane compound with an oxetane ring having a substituent at the 2-position, the method comprising the steps of (a) ejecting the photocurable ink as ink droplets from an ink ejecting section of a recording head onto a recording medium, and (b) exposing, to ultraviolet light, the photocurable ink ejected onto the recording medium, wherein the ink ejecting section is heated to a temperature of 40 to 80 °C and the recording medium is heated to a temperature equal to or lower than that of the ink ejecting section, so that the difference in temperature between the ink ejecting section and the recording medium is not more than 40 °C.

    The present invention provides a cationically photopolymerizable composition suitably usable for use in an optoelectronic component, in particular, a cationically photopolymerizable composition capable of attaining a high adhesiveness and a high dimensional stability at high temperatures, low temperatures and/or high humidities. Specifically, disclosed is a cationically photopolymerizable composition comprising as the main components thereof the following (A) to (D): (A) 100 parts by weight of a cationically polymerizable compound comprising 5% or more by weight of a hydrogenated bisphenolic epoxy resin; (B) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of one or more iodonium salts each having a specific structure; (C) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of one or more benzoyl compounds each having a specific structure; and (D) 10 to 90 parts by weight of a glass fiber having a fiber length of 1 to 500 µm and a fiber diameter of 0.5 to 100 µm.

    One of the objects of the present invention is to provide a (meth)acryloyl group-containing radical-polymerizable organopolysiloxane having a low viscosity, and to provide a method for preparing the organopolysiloxane less costly and without using harmful raw materials. Additionally, another object is to provide a (meth)acryloyl group containing organopolysiloxane useful for providing release sheets having light release and high adhesion properties. The present invention provides a method for preparing a (meth)acryloyl group-containing organopolysiloxane comprising a step of transesterification between the components (a1) and (a2) in the presence of the components (a3) and (a4) to obtain the (meth)acryloyl group-containing organopolysiloxane, whrein component (a1) is an organopolysiloxane represented by the average composition formula (1) which has at least one of a hydroxy group-containing group, component (a2) is a (meth)acrylic acid ester represented by the general formula (2), component (a3) is a zirconium metal complex in an amount such that a molar ratio of component (a3) to the hydroxy group of component (a1) is 0.001 to 0.1, and component (a4) is a hydroxy group-containing amine represented by HON(R4)2 in an amount such that a molar ratio of component (a4) to component (a3) is 0.10 to 1.5, wherein R4 is, independently of each other, a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
