  The instant invention pertains to hindered amine compounds having at least two nitrogen atoms with different basicity. One part is substituted on the N-atom by alkoxy moieties and the other part is substituted on the N-atom by a hydroxy-alkyl moiety. These materials are particularly effective in stabilizing polymers, especially thermoplastic polyolefins, against the deleterious effects of oxidative, thermal and actinic radiation.
