  A metallocene compound of formula (I) wherein M is zirconium, hafnium or titanium; X is hydrogen, halogen, or a hydrocarbyl radical optionally containing heteroatoms; R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 , are hydrogen or hydrocarbyl radicals; R 6 is a hydrocarbyl radical; L is a divalent bridging group T is a radical of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V), wherein R 8 and R 9 are a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl radical. with the proviso that at least one group among R 1 , R 5 , R 6 and R 8 is a group of formula C(R 11 ) 2 R 12 wherein R 11 , equal to or different from each other, is an hydrocarbyl radical; and R 12 is hydrogen or an hydrocarbyl radical. These compounds are fit for the preparation of propylene copolymers.
