  The synthesis of indolo-benzazepine, indolo-benzazocine and indolo-benzazonine derivatives using a palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction is described. The polycyclic systems were obtained in a few steps directly from commercially available materials. The coupling of substrates containing aryl bromides was improved by microwave irradiation.
