    Coordination interactions of alkyl-substituted 2,2′-dipyrrolylmethene derivatives with copper(II) aminoacid complexes
    摘要:
    Using the method of electron spectroscopy we showed that reaction of alkyl-substituted 2,2'-dipyrrolylmethene derivatives with copper(II) aminoacid complexes led to the formation of heteroligand complexes with two chelated metallocycles forming their coordination sphere. Formation constants of the heteroligand complexes were established and their interrelations with the structure of the aminoacid residue side group were elucidated. It was found that alongside the ability to the primary solvolytic dissociation of aminoacid complex, the main effect on the formation of combined coordination sphere of the chelate is defined by the steric factor depending on the structure of substituent in the aminoacid.

    Cobalt II(l-phenylalanine)2 was used effectively for the first time in a catalytic asymmetric 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azomethine ylides with 2-arylidenindane-1,3-diones, affording a series of novel spiropyrrolidine derivatives with good to high yields (up to 90%), excellent diastereoselectivities (only exo’-3 were detected), and good enantioselectivities (up to 87% ee).

    This invention refers to a process to obtain new mixed copper aminoacidates from phenanthrolines and their alkyl derivates of an aromatic type to be used as anticancerigenic, agents preferably with a therapeutic use for the treatment of liquid and solid cancerigenic tumours such as leukemia. The complexes obtained are of the [Cu (N-N) (N-O)]⁺⁻ NO₃ type in which the N-N ligand corresponds to 4, 7-dimethyl-1, 10 phenanthroline and the N-O ligand preferably correponds to one of the aminoacidates such as tyrosine-alaninate, treoninate, triptophanate, valinate, isoleucinate, cisteinate, diglycinate, phenylalaninate, glycinate, hystidinate, serinate, tyrosinate, aspartate, alaninate and phenylalaninate. The process is characterized because it includes the following steps: making an aqueous solution based on an aliphatic alcohol and 4, 7-dimethyl-1, 10 phenanthroline react with a copper complex preferably CuNO₃5H₂O at room temperature, and immediately after making the obtained product react in an aqueous aminoacidate solution adjusting a slightly alkaline pH.

    A method for treating psoriasis of the skin of a patient employs topically applying to the affected skin a composition comprising at least one peptide copper complex. In other embodiments, the present invention is directed to such a method where the composition used therefor further comprises certain disclosed active agents, including active drug and active cosmetic substances. In a related aspect, further embodiments of the present invention are directed to compositions comprising at least one peptide copper complex and certain active drug and active cosmetic substances that render the compositions particularly effective in treating psoriasis.
