    There are provided compounds of formula (I): wherein R 1 is H, a C 1 -C 12 alkyl, a C 2 -C 12 alkenyl, a C 2 -C 12 alkynyl, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkyl, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkenyl, a C 6 -C 12 aryl, a C 1 -C 12 heteroaryl group, —OR 2 , or each R 1 of a same boron atom are connected together so as to form a 4 to 6 membered ring; and R 2 is H, a C 1 -C 12 alkyl, a C 2 -C 12 alkenyl, a C 2 -C 12 alkynyl, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkyl, a C 3 -C 8 cycloalkenyl, a C 6 -C 12 aryl, a C 1 -C 12 heteroaryl or each R 2 of a same boron atom are connected together so as to form a 4 to 6 membered ring. The R 1 and R 2 groups can be unsubstituted or substituted with various substituents when possible. Such compounds are particularly useful for treating inflammation and/or pain.
