13C NMR spectra of some 4-substitutedN-acetonyl -N,N-dimethyl-N-phenacyl-ammonium bromides

The 13C NMR signals for some 4‐substituted N‐acetonyl‐N,N‐dimethyl‐N‐phenacylammonium bromides were assigned. The HETERCOSY and COLOC sequences allow an unambiguous distinction between the very similar signals of the methylene carbons. The chemical shifts observed for the aromatic ring carbons are in close agreement with those calculated from substituent increments.
