Methods: We chose the excellent fungicide pyrifenox as the lead compound, integrated pyridinyl, adamantyl and benzoyl moieties into one molecule, while also designed and synthesized ten 1- (adamantan-1-yl)ethanone oxime esters containing pyridinyl moiety.
