    efficient, one-pot synthesis of functionalized tetrahydropyridines by multicomponent condensation of ethyl acetoacetate, two equivalents of aromatic aldehyde, and aromatic amine in the presence of a catalytic amount of NO2-Fe(III)PcCl@C is reported.
