General and Selective Synthesis of (<i>Z</i>)-3-Haloacrylates via Palladium-Catalyzed Carbonylation of Terminal Alkynes

A general and selective palladium-catalyzedcarbonylation of terminal alkynes method for the synthesis of (Z)-3-haloacrylates is presented.
