第三代头孢菌素类抗生素

头孢噻呋钠

头孢噻呋钠是头孢噻呋的钠盐，属于第三代头孢菌素类抗生素，于1988年在美国首次上市。该药物化学性质稳定，为浅黄色至白色的结晶性粉末；但由于水溶液保存时间较短，应在临用前稀释成溶液。

抗菌活性与应用

头孢噻呋具有广谱的抗菌作用，对革兰阳性菌、革兰阴性菌及一些厌氧菌均有很强的抗菌活性。其中，对革兰阳性菌的抗菌活性与其他第一代头孢菌素相比相近或较弱；但对革兰阴性菌如大肠杆菌、沙门氏菌和巴氏杆菌等具有强大的抗菌作用。

此药适用于多种敏感细菌引起的呼吸道感染、泌尿道感染等病症。特别适合于预防和治疗由大肠杆菌、沙门氏菌、绿脓杆菌、葡萄球菌等原因导致的鸡苗早期死亡，以及1日龄仔猪的大肠杆菌性黄痢和剪脐带、打耳号、剪齿、剪尾等引起的伤口感染。此外，对嗜血性放线杆菌引发的猪传染性胸膜肺炎、牛支气管肺炎也有显著疗效。但通常不适用于奶牛及奶羊乳腺炎的治疗。

一些研究表明，头孢噻呋钠对于数千株兽医临床分离病原菌具有强大的抑菌作用，尤其对抗大肠杆菌、多杀性巴氏杆菌、溶血性巴氏杆菌、伤寒沙门氏菌和链球菌属等有很强的效果；对绿脓杆菌、肠杆菌属及厌氧菌也有良好的抗菌效果。该药物主要用于马、牛、猪（传染性胸膜肺炎）、羊的呼吸道疾病以及宠物、1日龄肉鸡感染性疾病的治疗。

生物活性

头孢噻呋钠具有完全吸收和较长消除半衰期等特性，已批准用于兽医用途，主要应用于治疗猪细菌性呼吸道感染。
