  Azole compounds of the formula ##STR1## where X is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, trifluoromethyl or phenyl and m is an integer from 1 to 5, and, if m is greater than 1, the X's can be identical or different, n is an integer from 2 to 5, Z is N or CH and Y is CO or CR.sup.1 OR.sup.2, where R.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl and R.sup.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkenyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkynyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkanoyl, and their crop-tolerated addition salts with acids, and metal complexes.
