Aurone derivatives as promising antibacterial agents against resistant Gram-positive pathogens

variously substituted aurones was synthesized and evaluated against Methicillin-Resistant S. aureus (MRSA) and P. aeruginosa. Several analogues were found active against MRSA, but no effect was recorded against P. aeruginosa.
