Two polyaminocarboxylic acid chelating agents were synthesized. Complexation properties regarding 111In and 153Sm, two radionuclides suitable for applications in immunoscintigraphy and radioimmunotherapy were investigated. The synthesis of aminodiacetic acid derivatives 7a and 7b involved preliminary stereoselective synthesis of the corresponding amines, cis and trans cyclopentane-1,2-diamines. 111In
