Highly efficient deep-blue electroluminescence based on the triphenylamine-cored and peripheral blue emitters with segregative HOMO–LUMO characteristics
Combining meta‐triphenylamine or triphenylphosphine with three anthracene fluorophores gives rise to fluorescent non‐planar triskelions 1 and 2. The emissive properties of 1 are highly solvatochromic, yielding blue to pale green and even pale yellow fluorescence, whereas the blue emission of 2 is solvent‐insensitive. Anthracenetrimers 1 and 2 are both emissive in the solid state, displaying yellow

An organic fluorescent probe has been synthesized for naked-eye recognition of chloromethanes such as CH2Cl2, CHCl3, and CCl4. The fluorescence response mechanism was elucidated through the guest-loaded crystal structure analysis.
An organic electroluminescent includes an organic layer with a total thickness of 150 nm or over is included between an anode and a cathode. The organic layer includes a light-emitting layer containing a host material of a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compound with a basic skeleton having three to seven ring members, and hole supply layers arranged between the anode and the light-emitting layer and having a smaller thickness than a thickness of the light-emitting layer.
