Iron-copper cooperative catalysis is shown to be effective for an alkene-Grignard exchange reaction and alkylmagnesiation of alkynes. Cyclohexane derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## in which the radicals R.sup.1 to R.sup.6, X, Y and Z have the stated meanings, and processes for the preparation of these compounds are described. The compounds have valuable pharmacological properties and can therefore be used as pharmaceuticals.
