  Tetrasubstituierte Thioharnstoffe lassen sich mit Methyljodid in die S-Methyl-isothiuroniumjodide 3 überführen, die ihrerseits mit Cyclopentadienylnatrium die 6.6-Diamino-fulvene 1 bilden.
