    摘要:
    Thirteen ee (alpha S,beta R)9H-fluorene-2-ylketo-oxiranes (2(9H)-fluorene-4-yl[3-(substituted phenyl)oxiran2-yl]methanones) have been synthesized by phase transfer catalysed epoxidation of 9H-fluorene-2-yl chalcones. The yields of oxiranes are more than 95%. The synthesized oxiranes have been characterized by IR, H-1, C-13 and GC-MS spectral data. The spectral data are correlated with Hammett substituent constants and Swain-Lupton parameters. From the regression analysis, the effect of substituents on the group frequencies has been predicted. The antimicrobial, antioxidant and insect antifeedant activities of all the synthesized oxiranes have been studied. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

    A series of some 1, 3-oxazine amine derivatives including 4-(1-naphthyl)-5,6-dihydro-6-(substituted phenyl)-oxazine-2-amines has been synthesised by lsolid SiO2-H3PO4 catalyzed solvent-free cyclization of aryl chalcones and urea under microwave irradiation. The yields of the oxazines were more than 80%. The synthesised oxazine amines were characterized by their physical constants, analytical and spectroscopic data. The antimicrobial activities of these oxazine derivatives have been studied using Bauer-Kirby method.
