    This invention relates to fluorohydrocarbon polymers which are modified by the incorporation of substitiuents bearing a functional group such as vinyl, allyl, acrylate, alkoxysilane, amido, sulfonic acid salt, pyridine, carboxylic ester and carboxylic salt. The functional groups may be further reacted to obtain branching, grafting or crosslinking of the polymers.
