  A new approach to the synthesis of pyrazole, isoxazole, pyridine and pyrazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidine deriva tives is reported. The structure of the newly synthesized compounds was elucidated by elemental analyses, ir and 1H nmr spectra, and in some cases by 13C nmr investigation.

  In this study a series of novel pyrazoles and pyrazolo [1,5-alpha]pyrimidines with a sulfone moiety incorporated the coumarin ring were efficiently synthesized. These pyrazoles and pyrazolo[1,5-alpha]pyrimidines were synthesized by treating enaminone derivative of beta-ketosulfone (3-(2-tosylacety1)-2H-coumarin) with substituted hydrazines and 5-aminopyrazole derivatives, respectively under microwave irradiation. The structures of the products thus obtained were characterized by 2D NMR (HMBC).

  The amino substituted triazine ring was annelated to aminoazoles using a new effective synthetic procedure. The method of preparation involved initial formation of azolylformamidines in the reaction of aminoazoles with N,N-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal followed by the triazine ring closure with cyanamide affording therefore fused aminotriazines.
