    A metal-free PhI(OAc)2-mediated method for the synthesis of acyl azides through oxidative cleavage of 1,3-diketones is described. This method is shown to have a broad substrate scope, providing a useful tool for multiproduct synthesis in a single procedure. A possible reaction pathway is proposed based on mechanistic studies.

    Disclosed is a fluorescent material for conversing wavelengths used in a light transmitting layer of a solar cell module, by mixing a fluorescent substance and a vinyl compound. Also, disclosed is a resin composition for converting wavelengths by polymerizing the vinyl compound of the fluorescent material for converting wavelengths and then mixing it with a transparent dispersion medium resin. Therefore, there can be provided a fluorescent material for converting wavelengths capable of converting a light that contributes less to solar energy generation in the incident solar radiation, to a wavelength that contributes significantly to energy generation, as well as utilizing the solar radiation efficiently and stably without deteriorating, a resin composition for converting wavelengths and methods for producing thereof.

    A wavelength-converting resin composition for a photovoltaic cell, comprising: a fluorescent substance having a maximum absorption wavelength in an absorbance spectrum of which being λmax (nm); resin particles; and a dispersion medium resin, wherein a value of A1 (λ), which is represented by the following Equation 1, at the maximum absorption wavelength λmax (nm) is 3.0×10-4 (O.
