Reaction of pyrazole and 1,1,2,2‐tetrabromoethane in a superbasic medium dimethylsulfoxide‐potassium hydroxide was investigated, and a number of pyrazolyl‐ and bromo‐substituted ethenes, which are the products of concurrent substitution and elimination reactions, were identified.
