  In this paper, we propose an efficient method for the synthesis of new organosilicon compounds based on hydrosilylation of functional olefins with monohydrido POSS as well as hydrosilylation of monovinyl POSS with functionalized monohydrodisiloxanes. A large number of new compounds were obtained and comprehensively characterized. These compounds can be building blocks for the synthesis of novel hybrid molecules and macromolecules.
