Roots and aereal parts of Tephrosia leiocarpa afforded two new flavanones, 5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-8-(3-hydroxy-3-methyl-trans-but-1-enyl)flavanone and 5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-8-(3-methyl-trans-but-1,3-dienyl)flavanone, named tephroleocarpin A and B, respectively.
