The processed leaves and stems of Aspalathus linearis contain hydroxylated benzoic and cinnamic acids, luteolin, chrysoeriol, quercetin, isoquercitrin, the C-C linked beta-D-glucopyranosides based on four flavones and the dihydrochalcone aspalathin.
