  The solid state 31P NMR spectra of some adducts of POCl3 with Lewis acids is reported. From the chemical shifts observed, both of those whose structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction, and those whose structure has not, we conclude that all adducts examined are coordinated through the oxygen of the POCl3.
